Change of hair color

alright so this past month i have dyed my hair twice; whoopsies i went to the Paul Mitchell salon in the middle of MAY and they did a color correction and dyed my hair to a very dark auburn. I went back two weeks later and dyed it again, a little lighter [it's the same color as the girl in the picture next to the hair treatments] i'm not so sure if you can see it. While dying my hair, they were giving me great advice they were telling me that out of all colors red is the fastest color to wash out and boy were they right, when i washed my hair at my house a few days later i was putting in the color care treatments & when i look to the floor i see nothing BUT RED i didn't even see my own floor and i was FREAKING out !! i was so upset i thought all the red washed out, great waste of money, well a few days later i washed my hair again same thing... little by little somehow these treatment made my hair lighter, the more i used it the more you could see my hair color and i loved it now my hair is so shiny & very auburn just the way i wanted it, even though every time i wash my hair the red washes off a lot yet it somehow comes out lighter.. weird ehh?? sorry if i confused y'all

this is the reconstructive treatment; it repairs and protects you hair this is the website where you can check out the ingredients & what it provides they are also having a contest were you can win your own color care treatment package.

aren't celebrities so lucky; they can dye their hair anytime they want and they don't have to worry about damaging their hair. look at Jessica biel she dyed her drastically

light brown with highlights

dark brown with highlights

chocolate brown

deep auburn

platinum blonde

what hair color do you think fits her the bestt & how often do you dye your hair?

I would say the deep auburn suits her best! and yes, red is one of fashion colors so it washes our quickly and started to change color after two weeks. but I love red, I almost always dye my color with varying shades of right :) plus I like the after-color :)

Ohhh I'll have to check out that reconstructive treatment-I'm a hair product whore!

I think Jessica looks great in almost any color...not FAIR! But choc brown is my fav :) I love your blog, totally following, we have so much in common!

I like Jessica with the dark brown with highlights. Looks natural, but glam!

I had such a horrible dying experience last year! I went new girl that was supposed to be great at color. So I decided to do something a little daring and go with a light caramel brown. Well, I don't think this girl had any idea what to do with non-white hair... I'm half Mexican, but my hair is 100% haha Let's just say it ended very badly... And my hair was dyed dark again within 24 hours. Bad I know - but it was sooooo horrible.

Thankfully my hair is all back to normal, and prolly in even better condition after all the conditioning/repair treatments I did on it lol

She looks better in her natural hair color, or darker brown. She should NEVER dye her hair that plantinum blonde ever, again. EWWW!

She's so blah! I hate Justin Timberlake with her. =[

I've dyed my hair a few times. Only did it permanent once ... still waiting for it to be completely out of my hair. Dye is damaging to your hair, so I won't be doing it again.

i like her better with darker hair. i used to dye my hair a lot back in high school... i had my hair dyed and my hair permanently straightened... talk about DAMAGED hair! ahahaha! so now i've only got my hair perm straightened to lessen the damage/dryness. :)lets see pics of your new hair color! :)
