recession // gain weight?

America is expanding, not my miles but by pounds,
data shows that in the past year the number of americans considered obese has jumped by 1.7 percent. that's almost 5.5 million. many people are gaining weight because they are changing their style of living, they cant do what they use to do for example go the gym, eat healthy 24/7, many many people are turning to McDonalds and other fast food since they provide dollar menus and what not also since many people have been laid off, the ones who still have jobs are asked to pick up the slack and do extra work, so there's not much energy or time to exercise, even for those who can afford it.

tell me has the recession; changed your style of living? has saving money affected your waistline??

it's affected canada but not as much as the states. the recession hasn't changed much of my lifestyle although i DID gain weight but i wouldn't blame it on the recession...its my own laziness. haha! ;P

Well this probably isn't good either...but since I'm worried about money now more than I ever have been, I haven't been eating that much at all! HA! I just hate spending money on food!

I gained weight bc I've been craving sweets lately. Too much chocolate and ice cream. LOL. Fast food is good, but I don't really eat it much.

I've gained weight, but it's not from the recession.

The recession hasn't really affected me or my family - and I'm really thankful for that.
