SUNSCREEN*

Memorial Day Pictures, Images and Photos

Summer time is here and you all know where we head out to the beach, park, pools etc ...
Skin Cancer is so dangerous, it can kill us, many people dont pay mind to it because they dont see the symptoms "now" but you must take a moment to consider this: The incidence of melanoma in women aged 30 to 44 is on the rise. Since 1973, the rate of melanoma diagnosed in this age-group has almost tripled, says Martin Weinstock, M.D., Ph.D., professor of dermatology at Brown University Medical School.

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer is most likely the result of sun exposure in the women's childhood years, teens and early 20s.

thesre are a few ways you can keep yourself safe;

sweat & sun
Playing volleyball, tennis, biking a few miles are all amazing activities. The mix of sweat and outdoor elements wears away your sun screen protection. It takes most sunscreen about 20 minutes to penetrate the epidermis so to prevent this have the habit of applying lotion BEFORE you leave the house, also since water can degrade the effectiveness of your protection its important to apply sunscreen every hour or so. WaterProof or SweatProof sunscreen protections are a must if you are very active.

summer and the city
when it comes your body keep in mind even when your out shopping or going out for a wqlk if your wearing thin t-shirts than cant protect you at all to test your clothes hold them up to the sun if the light shines through them they wont provide enough protection. to prevent damage from uv ecposure DR. Neel recommends using a sunscreen or moisturizer with a built in- SPF before you dress.

Lubriderm Daily UV lotion is $8.

Remember to make sure your legs and upper back is covered this is where melanoma strikes the most. & dont forget your LiPS. Lips is also a cancer spot, it is one of the most senstive spot in your body so protect that mouth of yours with a lip balm that at least has a SPF 15 in it.

Thanks for the reminder!
Even though we all know we're supposed to wear sunscreen, we need reminding sometimes.

remember we always have to think about our future it's not worth the risk getting all tanned up to look good just NOW & then having all those bumps & blacks spots on us later on ;DEFF not worth it

I totally understand what you're talking about being scared of false lashes, I was a little nervous when I first started using them.
You pretty much just use an eye adheasive to stick the lashes as close to your lash line as possible.
